The Present of the Future Residencies follow an open device, made concrete by a group of particularly important curators.
Depois da primeira residência, com curadoria de AnneMarie Maes, o segundo semestre de 2023 dá o lugar a Miguel Azguime, compositor, poeta e percussionista português que fundou com Paula Azguime o Miso Ensemble e o Sond’Ar-te Electric Ensemble, dois dos mais importantes agrupamentos portugueses de música contemporânea, bem como o projeto de formação Academia Sond’Ar-te e o O’Culto da Ajuda, sala experimental dedicada à música contemporânea. Embora a tónica seja colocada no processo e na descoberta que o confronto de linguagens suscita, cada residência é partilhada com públicos plurais através de momentos abertos.
After the first residency, curated by AnneMarie Maes, the second half of 2023 will see Miguel Azguime, the Portuguese composer, poet and percussionist who, with Paula Azguime, founded the Miso Ensemble and the Sond'Ar-te Electric Ensemble, two of the most important Portuguese contemporary music groups, as well as the Academia Sond'Ar-te training project and O'Culto da Ajuda, an experimental hall dedicated to contemporary music. Although the emphasis is on the process and the discovery that the confrontation of languages gives rise to, each residency is shared with plural audiences through open moments.
