If you are unable to take the guided tour inside the House at the desired time and in the desired language, we suggest that you book in advance.

The tours of the interior of the House are conducted with an audio guide, except for special tours with a specialized guide. They take place in groups of up to 10 people. They last 25 minutes (Visit to the Museum) and 50 minutes (Special Visit to Casa de Mateus).

The Audio Guide for the outdoor space is optional and costs €1. It includes a tour of 23 points of interest outside Casa de Mateus. After completing the booking form, your reservation will be confirmed within 24 hours.

The Casa de Mateus Foundation, a heritage site, does not have a car park. Exceptionally, it is possible to park inside for a fee of 12,50€.
