This Privacy Policy regulates the processing of the personal data of users (hereinafter "User" or "Users") collected within the scope of the use of the Casa de Mateus Foundation website (hereinafter "Website"), as well as the Casa de Mateus Foundation Newsletter (hereinafter "Newsletter"), by the Casa de Mateus Foundation ("Foundation") and reflects the Foundation's institutional concerns regarding privacy and the processing of personal data.

The provision of personal data in the context of browsing the Website implies knowledge and express acceptance of the conditions contained in this Privacy Policy.

A Fundação é a entidade responsável pelo tratamento dos dados pessoais dos Utilizadores, podendo para o efeito tratar tais dados diretamente e/ou através de entidades subcontratadas para o efeito. Os dados pessoais recolhidos através do Website serão tratados nos termos ora descritos e para efeitos de prestação das informações, produtos e funcionalidades disponibilizadas, bem como para efeitos de cumprimento de obrigações legais e regulatórias da Fundação.

O acesso e navegação em geral no Website não implicam necessariamente a disponibilização de dados pessoais. No entanto, o acesso a certos tipos de informação implica a disponibilização de um conjunto de dados pessoais (por exemplo, informação de natureza pessoal relativa à identificação do Utilizador. On the basis of the personal data collected and with your consent, the Foundation may process such data for the purposes of profiling and designing cultural, promotional and institutional communications tailored to your interests and preferences. 3.2 The Foundation may also, for the fulfilment of legal obligations, the completion of operations carried out through the Website, or on the basis of the consent you provide for this purpose, communicate your data to third parties, be they partners, sponsors or other entities with whom the Foundation establishes similar relationships, financial/payment institutions; competent entities, under the terms of the law.

4.1 Under the terms of the applicable legislation, you may at any time request access to personal data concerning you, as well as its rectification, erasure or restriction of processing, the portability of your data, or object to its processing. You can exercise these rights directly by sending an email or by writing to the Foundation using the contact details provided in point 7 below.

4.2 You can also obtain confirmation that the personal data concerning you is being processed, as well as access to it. If you so request, a copy of the data being processed may be made available to you.

4.3 Under the terms of the law, you have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of your data for the purposes indicated using the contact details provided here.

4.4 Under the terms of the law, you also have the right to withdraw your consent at any time, without prejudice to the processing carried out up to that date, based on the consent previously given, remaining entirely valid.

4.5 You also have the right, under the terms of the applicable legislation, to request the restriction of processing or the portability of your data, provided the legal conditions are met. To this end, you should submit a request to the contacts mentioned in 4.1.

Retention of personal data

5.1. The personal data required for registration purposes will be kept for as long as you are interested in remaining subscribed to the Newsletter.

5.2 Other personal data collected through the Website will be kept for the period of time necessary for the Foundation to make available the products and information provided, in order to facilitate the purchase/payment processes and the provision of information requested by Users. The data collected for the purpose of sending newsletters and other institutional and marketing communications from the Foundation will be kept for as long as you have given your consent for this purpose, and will be deleted once you have withdrawn your consent and/or ticked the "unsubscribe" option in any of our communications.

Complaints

Without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy, the User has the right to lodge a complaint with the National Data Protection Commission or another competent supervisory authority under the terms of the law, if he/she believes that the processing of his/her data by the Foundation violates the legal regime in force at any given time.
