The history of winemaking at Casa de Mateus, narrated and led by winemaker Pedro Duarte. An opportunity to taste a selection of wines chosen by the winemaker, which will take you on a journey of discovery through the terroirs of the Douro and Casa de Mateus, accompanied by a tour of the vineyard and the Vineyard Museum, as well as the winery, which dates back to the 17th century. Includes a 30-minute guided tour of the Casa de Mateus Museum.
It also provides free access to the Casa de Mateus Park and the Chapel, as well as to some interior areas of the National Monument, allowing for a more comprehensive and self-guided tour of the historical, architectural, and landscape heritage of Casa de Mateus.
The tour has an estimated duration of 2 hours 30 minutes, available in english and portuguese.
